Our Weekend to Make a Difference

THANK YOU ... for helping us to make a difference this weekend!!!

MFR Charity Trust

The Charity Auction happens each year
around the time of MFR's Birthday.
MFR went "on air" on 23rd February 1982
and over the years, with the help of the
generous businesses throughout the MFR area and
beyond
and all our listeners, many thousands of pounds
have been raised for local charities.

In these pages you will discover more about the
MFR Charity Trust, the Auction and all the items
which were auctioned over the Auction Weekend
and information about the Charity Trust.

All the money raised goes to local charities and to many groups and individuals chosen by the Trustees of the MFR Charity Trust. They have the task to sifting through the hundreds of applications received each year. This means that all the money raised over the Charity Auction Weekend - and at the many other Charity Events throughout the year - stays within the MFR broadcast area!

And its not just during the Auction Weekend that we need your help . . . because the fund raising goes on ALL year! So if you think you can help - organise a party night, have a special collection . . . or you are maybe a hardy individual who is prepared to walk, run or bungee jump for money, even have a sponsored silence -
we want to hear from you!
In addition to the on-air Charity Auction, many businesses, community organisations and individuals have been involved over the weekend and really have helped to Make A Difference.
